Training
Introduction to Umpiring
The East Surrey Cricket Scorers and Umpires Association offers the above course to local clubs at a cost of £50. The course lasts approximately 2.5 hours and is run over a single evening. It is aimed at those who might umpire occasionally, for example as parents at a colts match or as a player-umpire during a match. It covers the essential Laws that anyone will need to get started in umpiring and will give participants sufficient information to take the field and umpire with enhanced confidence. Level 1 Umpires
East Surrey is currently taking expressions of interest for a Level 1 ECB Umpiring course over two consecutive Saturdays on 6 and 13 November 2010 (9.30am to 5.30pm) at Reigate Grammar School. Please contact our Secretary, John Flatley via training@esacus.org.uk if you are interested in attending.
