Background<\/h3>\n

The Surrey Association of Cricket Officials (SACO) is the Surrey branch of ECB ACO<\/a><\/strong>.<\/h6>\n
SACO\u00a0works closely with the Surrey Cricket Foundation<\/a><\/strong> (formerly Surrey Cricket Board) and, with their support, organises the training, development and appointment of umpires and scorers across the County to matches in the Performance Programme<\/a><\/strong> and to County Age Group and Academy matches.<\/h6>\n
SACO\u2019s members operate independently and officiate across the County in the Surrey Cricket Championship<\/a><\/strong> (formed from the The AJ Fordham Surrey Championship, the Surrey Cricket League and the Surrey County League), the I\u2019Anson League<\/strong>, the Surrey Downs League<\/strong>, the Village Cricket League<\/strong> and the Surrey Trust League<\/strong> as well as ECB national competitions, the Conference Cup, Sovereign Trophy, MCC matches, inter-schools matches, inter-club friendly fixtures etc.<\/h6>\n
Some members also officiate in County Second XI and Minor Counties matches.<\/h6>\n\n\n
