Clubs looking for umpires<\/strong> in 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are several clubs looking for regular umpires to stand in their League fixtures this season. Anyone interested should contact the relevant club listed below<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Battersea Ironsides CC<\/strong> – Umpire Wanted for 1st XI Matches<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Battersea Ironsides Cricket Club is seeking a regular umpire for our 1st XI Saturday team league fixtures in the Surrey Cricket Championship Division 5 East for the upcoming 2025 season. We can offer \u00a350 per game plus travel and refreshments. This is a great opportunity to get involved with a social cricket club in the heart of London. Home ground is located in South West London between Earlsfield and Wandsworth Common. Whether you’re an experienced umpire or looking to expand your officiating experience, we’d love to hear from you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cobham Avorians CC <\/strong>is seeking a regular umpire, to join their existing umpiring team, for their 1st XI Saturday team that competes in the Surrey Cricket Championship Division 5 West for the upcoming 2026 season. The club will offer a highly competitive fee package \u2013 at least equal to comparable Umpires’ Panel fees with the possibility of a bonus upon completion of an agreed number of games – for the right candidate alongside the chance to be part of social and friendly club. This opportunity would suit an experienced umpire or a newer umpire looking to develop their umpiring portfolio. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In either event, the club is committed to supporting all officials in their development journey. Being part of the team allows maximum flexibility to cover days when people are not available.  The club is located just off the A3 at Painshill or is happy to arrange pick-ups\/drop-offs from the closest stations (Walton on Thames or Cobham) to facilitate your transport. Cranleigh CC \u2013 2nd XI Umpire Wanted for 2026+<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cranleigh Cricket Club is looking for a regular umpire to stand in our 2nd XI Saturday league fixtures in the Surrey Championship Division 5 West for the 2026 season. More than anything, we want someone who will become part of the club. We are one of Surrey\u2019s oldest village clubs, playing on the picturesque Cranleigh Common (GU6) since the 1850s. The club runs four adult sides, a thriving women\u2019s team, and a 380-strong junior section, and we sit right at the heart of village life. We are proud of our reputation for playing the game fairly and in the right spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This opportunity would suit either an experienced umpire or someone recently qualified who is looking for a settled Saturday home in a supportive, development-minded club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guildford Cricket Club<\/strong> are seeking an umpire for the 2026 summer season to support our 2nd XI competing in Division 4. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced umpire or a young individual looking to gain valuable experience and develop their skills within a supportive club environment. Newdigate Cricket Club <\/strong>is looking for an umpire to stand in their 1st<\/sup> XI matches in the Surrey Cricket Championship. We have regular opportunities across the season, so umpiring on an ad-hoc basis would be absolutely fine.  A fee of \u00a370 per match is on offer, plus all refreshments, and a beer after the game!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also have excellent facilities and a very supportive club atmosphere. All league matches take place on Saturdays and are 50 overs per side under Surrey Cricket Championship rules. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are ideally looking for someone who is Level 1 or 1A (or equivalent) qualified (preferred but not essential), reliable, confident with league rules, and available for most Saturdays throughout the season.
